Hi there,

It's been quite a few months since I've asked, and I've been shooting nonstop really... so I'd like to know your thoughts on my work as it stands today smile I've tried to add a ton of versatility in genres (beauty, art nude, glamor, etc), facial expressions, and poses.

Have I achieved this?

Are there any images you absolutely love/hate?

What direction would you recommend I go next?

Thanks for your time.

Why would you need to change direction? I think you portfolio is amazing, shows very good modelling skills. I would love the chance to shoot with you one day!

What you do is very erotic more than glamour I think, but you add such class and style to the images!

You should be very proud!

I wouldn't change a thing....... You are an exceptional model. You should be critiquing not looking for critiques, you don't need one!..

Thanks, guys smile I'm not looking to change direction, per se. I was just wondering "What next?" since I cleared quite a few genres and looks recently smile Just thought I'd see if anyone had any inspiration for me.

Here is my advice: stop trying so hard. If your portfolio gets any better, you are going to start intimidating people out of working with you.

I think your port is awesome.  Only thing that really stuck out to me is you don't seem to smile much.  Maybe a photo with a smile would add a little diversity.  smile

I particularly like the new beauty shot you're currently using for your avatar.

I just put in my profile:

- Amateur or professional - I don't discriminate! My rates are negotiable, so don't be afraid to write me whether you are just starting out or very experienced.

Do you think that covers it?

It helps. But honestly I am less likely to make a paid shoot offer to a model once she gets to your level and beyond. I begin to think she is out of my league (or at least out of my price range).

wonderful port smile

I think the (tasteful) erotic-ish work is not for everybody, but who cares. you can't please everyone. just something to be aware of. but it seems like you really enjoy doing it, and you're good at it too!

the only (and I do literally mean only) comment I could ever come up with in regards to your port and you as a model, is that I personally think you put a bit too much tension in your jaw/chin/lip area sometimes, which sometimes doesn't benefit the picture. But that's really the one and only thing smile (oh, and the "silver pants" photo. but that's just personal opinion, not a fan of it)

love your new avi by the way! and nice to see you throw in some fashion in the mix as well!

you rock smile. must be annoying to have an awesome port and having to come up with things that are even more awesome big_smile

If you've been really busy shooting, that should tell you something is working.  Why change?

Nope, hate all of 'em  .  .  .  ditch 'em and come shoot with me immediately  .  .  .  wink  Nah, it's always a pleasure to wander through your port, maybe add some fetish fashion looks, or some period looks, perhaps an 1830's New Orleans "Mistress of the evening" kinda theme  .  .  .  or some hard edged bike or motorhead stuff, with an erotic twist  .  .  .  geeeezzzzzzzz, any direction you'd like to try seems to work when you throw your look, energy, and attitude into it  .  .  .

As much as I like that one, I wish it was reversed/opposite/flipped.

Quite beautiful all.  I really like this one

The capture shows you in a very beautiful way and the way you pose is very natural looking.  A series that would include this one would be breathtaking.

Don't change, just keep adding.

Warm Regards.

Hi Christine,

You obviously have some of the best figure images out there. They show your modeling ability in that area extremely well.

Unfortunately the high end money is rarely in this narrow field. While there are some great artistic nude photographers, many just want to shoot nudes to be near beautiful naked women.

With your exotic face and perfect form, I would suggest adding in high fashion, expensive lingerie, makeup, and elaborate hair style shots. Since you are so comfortable in front of the camera and have such great fluid movements, you may also do very well in theater, and movies (not porn), since you don't need the same height as you do for runway. Many actresses are quite petite, an asset on camera in smaller spaces where light placement is critical for the lighting ratios required in movies. Petite women also make vertically challenged leading men look taller wink. You certainly have the exotic look that's featured in the sensual James Bond movie openings.

Just keep pushing your own boundaries, while staying grounded in your own beliefs of what is right for you, not just what the photographer wants.

Much Success,
Michael

Thanks for the advice smile I've been kind of hovering around the idea of going into acting... used to do a lot of theater and stuff when I was younger... so this is encouraging smile

I really like that you added some beauty like your avi as well.  Maybe you could add a few more images showing your personality, maybe a smile or two.  Its up to you really, if that type of work (commercial) is something you want to pursue.

When I am looking for a model and trying to decide between who on the short list (rigt look, right size for the cothes, etc) I should cast; I look for signs that they have a good personality, easy to work with, and won't be a drag on the shoot.

Thanks for all the tips, guys smile Sounds like my new goal is to add some smiles! Or at least some happier personality shots smile

Edited a little bit based on your criticisms and replaced some shots I personally was unsure about.

Thanks again for all your help
