Problem with Graphic Artist
I have contacted a graphic artist from mm to do a project for me. Half of the payment was required to start. It was agreed that I would have screenshots and updates on project. It's been a week and I have seen no screenshots or anything. What should I do. She says she has started project and was going to add finishing touches to the final, but how do I know what the start and final are. I'm stuck. Please advice me. Jul 11 13 05:44 am Link Isn't final result what matters? I am organized but one of my friends workflow is complete mess and if he would have to provide screenshots in the middle of his work everyone would think result will be awful and it's a total mess but once everything comes together it looks fantastic. May be the case where there is actually nothing to show while working. Jul 11 13 06:34 am Link Seriously. Give them a break. A week is no time at all. Jul 11 13 07:08 am Link She was the one who said she would give updates and screen shots at a specific time. I will wait but no response from her. I am not constantly bugging her. I did all that was asked of me and as I said I would do. Only fair for her to do what she says she gonna do Jul 11 13 04:46 pm Link A week with a Holliday does not count. Jul 11 13 05:00 pm Link A couple of thoughts come to mind. Whether they apply here, I don't know: Blaque Photography wrote: Thought 1: Always pay by a method that leaves you the option to challenge the payment (Paypal, a major credit card). It was agreed that I would have screenshots and updates on project. It's been a week and I have seen no screenshots or anything. Thought 2: If you agreed on a delivery date for the screenshots and updates, politely remind this person that if they aren't delivered as promised, you will challenge the payment (see Thought 1). Jul 11 13 05:37 pm Link Send her an angry, passive-aggressive email. That's really the best solution to the problem. Jul 11 13 05:47 pm Link Have you approved a pre-design yet? If not, I'd definitely worry. If you have approved a pre-design, just let them finish. I'd NEVER let a graphic artist work on and complete a project I have never seen any ideas for.
