Jul 12 13 10:55 am Link you are very good welcome to MM Jul 12 13 12:14 pm Link Lol, this is really funny. And I think it looks great! Jul 12 13 05:25 pm Link The source of the light is behind the man, I would add some redness to his ears (and his face since he is obviously upset). Also add some shade to the hand, it will naturally create and extend the 'vignette' around the face of the man. Backlighting also should introduce a bit of softness and diffuse the edges around the subject (ears, hair etc.) - try to use soft 10% blur brush and build it up. It will mask cut outs. There is little contrast in the chin so it looks flat. The facial expression and eyes should be main subject but EVERYTHING IS SHARP (in focus), looks very flat. Soften the razor and a hand a little it also could cast some shadow. There is too much brightness on the razor (strong contrast diverts attention from the main subject) cover is gently using blue light of the background, as if would reflect it. With a big, soft, brush add more brightness to the area around the eyes for a greater contrast. Nice idea by the way:) Regards! Jul 15 13 07:34 pm Link It's good. I think you lost some roundness and volume in the neck and torso, though. Jul 16 13 09:45 am Link I would be tempted to add a little more yellow to the torso. Other than the above, I love the concept and the execution, we all have different ideas on the outcome of the concept, but your take for me is pretty spot on and the decision to change the hand to a woman's definitely the right one. Jul 17 13 02:32 am Link Amazing work i like it Jul 21 13 04:37 am Link Good work. To me the top of the mustache looks a bit too pasted in and the blade needs a metallic texture or sheen of some sort. Right now it looks like a simple gradient and is distracting. Maybe a reflection of the woman holding the blade with a slightly devilish look on her face to add to the story. Jul 23 13 01:17 pm Link It's an impossible photo. The DOF is too narrow on the head (shoulders are out of focus) for the hand and blade to be in focus. It's amazing post work, but logically doesn't work with my eyes. Jul 23 13 01:20 pm Link |
