can someone please tell me the meaning of the acronyms such as, TF and TFCD. and can you please fill me in on any other important ones i may need to know? we all start some where so please be nice.

I'm surprised no one commented on this yet.

TF = "trade for" (or "time for"), so TFCD would be "time/trade for CD".  TFCD usually implies trading one's modeling time for a CD or DVD with (retouched) images.

Also there's TFP which means "time/trade for print", meaning, working in exchange for printed copies of images.

Those are the three main ones...

Actually both are outdated and pretty much meaningless, since most people send photos electronically rather than prints or CD's. If you use either term when communicating with someone from an agency, you're likely to get a quizzical look, since both are basically Internet modeling terms.

Agencies use the term test or test shoot. I used to use those, but now on MM I simply say trade shoot.

I don't know what CP2 means.  But I did a Google search and I came up with pictures of a lens, the CP2, from Carl Zeiss.  Maybe that's what it means?
