reply to this post and based on your previous work I will tell you a shoot idea I'd want to do if I worked with you.

I love doing concept shoots, so I'd be interested in hearing what your idea would be.

WOW your port it hard cause you seem to be good at just about everything, some photographers are only good in certain areas... I see alot of hat shoots so my Irish shoot would probably fit into your portfolio.

I have these white knee highs with clovers on the top add a lace thong a bowtie, and a top hat and a cane. Think it'd be neat at a bar with a mug of beer or something or on a stage.

Well you're portfolio makes me think that in a feild of sun flowers or dandelions, though even a corn field with those big bales of hay it'd be fun to do a shoot in either a straw hat or a cowboy hat, with a button up left open and a bikini top underneath (or nothing depends on the location) and a mini skirt and if I were wearing the straw hat barefoot, or knee high boots with the cowboy hat.

Thank you for your kind comments. Your Irish concept sounds like it'd be fun. I enjoy starting a concept and letting it lead us where it seems right. Sometimes we end up creating images that we didn't plan on, but that work really well.

yeah that's the best way to do a shoot. Having everything planned in detail tends to limit the possibilities. I'm definitely going to have to pick up a top hat and cane cause I want to do that shoot before st. Patty's day... Be great if I knew someone with a bar!!!

It wouldn't have to be a large bar top. Even a household wet bar might work. Since I do a lot of post re-touching, I'll give some thought to emulating a bar top. The hardest part will be that most bartops have some type of ridge in front that keeps liquids from getting on the floor. I have a 3' X 4' piece of plywood that I can attach legs to, or sit on wood blocks that could be used to get you up, and on the edge of a 'bartop'. Then a photo of a bartop could be edited into the images.

one of my friends probably knows someone with household bar. I don't know enough people anymore I really need to start being social. Photoshop is always an option, I still think nothing beats the real thing though :-)

Ok so look at your port of course I see the motorcycle, and I want to pose with the motorcycle, in an abandoned building in front of graphitii in a leather mini skirt and fishnets and knee high leather dominatrix boots and either a black corset or a backless top.

But I also saw a random image of a girl lying on a blanket, and that made me think it'd be fun to do a picnic shoot, nice outdoor setting with lots of grass, picnic basket some food. I have this cute backless summer dress that's got a sweetheart style neck line, it's halter top and knee length, skirt comes down to a little above my knee. And the back dips down to right below my tattoo.

I look at your portfolio and I see a lot of in studio work which makes me feel like we should get outside in the fresh air. I'm thinking a little black dress shoot at either an outdoor cafe or a city bench, though some pinup shots against a graphitiied train car would be fun too. White pearls and some black heels I think would be good. I'd wear my hair up probably.

okay you have a very diverse portfolio so it was a little hard to narrow down. But the red dresses caught my eye, and I'm thinking a full length v-neck line backless dress. With a long chiffon shawl. I'm thinking outdoor on a hill near a lake or a shore of some sort.

okay so the awesome huge Spanish frilly skirts in your port for some reason make me think about Esmeralda in the hunchback of notradam which is funny cause it's held in Paris, which isn't Spanish it's French. Anyway I'm thinking a gypsy shoot would be fun either on a beach or in an alley.

so I'm thinking little"black dresses" (any color would be fine) or semi casual bar room shoot, at the bar counter, at a table, shooting pool, drunk karaoke. And/or girls night out at the club shoot.

okay so I really like the mirror thing you've got going on so with you I'd grab a corner in  a room put four full length mirrors on one wall and four on the other wall spaced like an inch apart so you get the bridal shop effect where you can see all the angels of the dress at the same time. I'd then borrow my sisters pole (she's not a stripper she uses it for working out and entertaining her husband[very happy man]) and I'd grab some thigh highs, I'm going to go with either black or red,, and then I have a short tiny skirt with black piece lace and beading on it and a matching bra and pose on the pole. I bet my sister could show me how to hang on it upside down without falling on my head.

with you I'd either do a belly dancing shoot, or wear some sheer full length lingerie. I think either white or red with a low back, halter top, with a slit up the front.

WOW...love that idea.  I am in Boston and may need to pack up my gear and head to NY to shoot with you.  Very creative and fantastic.

Now I'm a bit curious.  Especially because most people who approach me for a "themed shoot" want the same thing.

I really like the waterfall shots so I'm thinking an outdoor body paint shoot with like fake or real vines incorporated into the design so I can be like a wood nymph or something. If the location wasn't suitable for nudity I could wear a nude bikini and paint over that.

either that a graveyard shoot in which I'm in like a grey old school drapy robe so I could paint my fave and hands and be like a statue or something crazy (your black and white pics brought that up in my mind dk why)

Yeah most people want the waterfalls!  smile  But the cemetery is also a favorite location to shoot as well.  You're welcome to drive down whenever you'd like - but you may want to wait for warmer weather for the waterfalls unless you like the frozen look.

lol if I'm feeling adventurous I'll drive down while its still cold. More than likely I'll wait till spring though. At least it'll be easy to find baby sitting since it's not super far.

If I could do a shoot today (working then doing the mom thing tongue)... I think I'd probably put on my long coat and a little black dress, wear some heels and go to the peir on charlotte beach. There's lots of interesting settings to pose there, it's kinda chilly and cloudy here today but it'd still be fun...
