Knowing how to conduct business is possibly far more important to and emerging talent than any other single factor...

Would highly recommend formal academic training in Sales and Marketing...
There is no substitute for business savvy in a highly competitive marketplace...

The first thing you're likely to learn is that you need to create perceived worth before you can command recompense... This is not an easy thing to accomplish...

The second is supply and demand in your local marketplace will establish going rates... Might be wise to see what your competition is charging for their services...
