I've been in sj for a while now and realized I don't really know any one some I'm trying to set up a meet and great and mini shooting session if people want it. I'm planing for 2/1 in the afternoon. I'd really love to get a ton of people to show, especially models and MUAs and all that. Photographers are welcome too...

I'm trying to decide on a spot to meet, thinking of a few spots outdoors for the shooting aspect but if any one has any suggestions I'm open to hear them.

Welcome to the Bay.  Good luck with your Meet and Greet.

In the past we did it at a pizza place in downtown SJ.

4th street pizza and Santa clara.

Basically it was a "Portfolios and Pizza" event.  The point was that your portfolio would speak for itself and there'd be no shooting involved.  It was ok for people to bring cameras and stuff to take pictures of the people there, but shooting wasn't the focus.

Networking, Setting up shoots, General shop chat was the focus and they were great events.

Ok, time has been changed to 4pm.  And it will be a meet and greet only.  No cameras, just portfolios and pizza.
