I measured it on my car hood. Snow - in Atlanta. Yes, Atlanta. We can always count on a dusting that lasts 3 or 4 hours on the ground every three years or so.

Not this time. This won't go away until the temp gets above freezing - maybe tomorrow?

The 2.5" of Fury is presently still terrorizing Atlanta. It has brought the entire city to it's knees. 6.5 million people have felt its presence in a single day.

That has to be a world record. It's all over the news.

Thousands spent the night stranded in their cars all over metro Atlanta. One lady even delivered her baby while stuck on the interstate. Ain't Atlanta great?

A hint of snow can leave the city paralyzed. And it's not just us southerners who have problems here. All the northern transplants have the same problems. It's not the people, it's the lack of equipment to deal with snow.

The sand trucks didn't even start to work on the roads until the city was already frozen in place. And by then, they couldn't get where they needed to be.

Mostly gone now - a few patches of ice from a refreeze overnight.

It was 81 deg here the other day.  Had a BBQ outside.

Then last night when it dropped below 60 ..we heard a scarey noise

Didn't recognize it at first...when it dropped below 60 the furnace had kicked on.
What the hell is up with that?

Scarey..  : )
