There is a free networking event hosted by Khuong Truong and Vinnie Verite of Alum Rock Studio in San Jose at 8:30PM on Saturday the 15th of February.

The details are there, I am not associated with the studio, but the guys seem to be cool.  It is supposed to be a classy event so try to dress for the occasion.  It is also nice because it is a relatively decent event in south bay and we have not really had any of those in a while. 

There will be refreshments, a live DJ, and a red carpet.

You can bring your portfolio or some photos on a USB drive to display on their monitors around their studio.  There will also be some models available to shoot, just remember to bring a small donation if you plan on taking pictures with their equipment.
