Has anyone used this before? I was browsing it randomly and was curious if there was anyone on MM using it. Out of curiosity I was wondering if photographers or models were using it and did find quite a few listings from all kinds of things..retouchers are much more common..web services and design work in general but there are some photographer related listings, and models. Photographer listings, in no particular order http://www.fiverr.com/search/gigs?utf8= … 1_rating=1 ..anyone on here used it effectively to promo themselves? Have a strategy they'd like to share for making it effective? Apr 06 14 12:35 pm Link Karl JW Johnston wrote: I knew about the site but haven't tried it. My previous trade was graphic designer/web developer but $5 was a bit low for the amount of work.. Apr 06 14 01:01 pm Link I have used it for some copy writing, a voice over, editing (written) and translations before. Works well for me, but I think it depends what you need done. Apr 06 14 01:04 pm Link I will give my views on this for a Fiver. Pounds mind you, not some cheap dollars, I'm worth every penny. Apr 06 14 03:21 pm Link It's hit and miss. Generally I've been happy with them for a variety of different things. The problem is very few people who sell a service on there are able to be found in six months. It's almost impossible to make any real money off the site so most of the suppliers are college kids wanting to make a few easy bucks. Once the allure wears off, they move on.
