New Canon Cameras for 2014 3rd Qtr
Is this for real? That's a lot of cameras! http://www.cameraegg.org/canon-7d-mark- … n-q3-2014/ 7d mARK II 750D/T6i 150D/SL2 EOS M3 (is this dude still breathing?) . Apr 14 14 11:53 pm Link You mean they might have really found Sasquatch?(7D ll) Apr 15 14 08:18 am Link Seems reasonable to me. Apr 15 14 09:16 am Link The first 7D was announced in September of 2009. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canon_EOS_7D Is nearly five years a record time to wait for a Mk II version of a digital camera in the modern age? The original 5D was announced in August of 2005. 5D Mk II was announced September 2008. (3 years and change.) 5D Mk III was announced March 2012. (3.5 years.) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canon_EOS_5D Apr 15 14 09:29 am Link The long awaited 7DMii will come out along with Nikon's replacement of the D300s in all likelihood! SL2 already, really? T6i, why? Apr 15 14 11:01 am Link H E R B L I S H wrote: Consumer DSLRs is where the money is. Apr 15 14 11:17 am Link The 7D MkII, I will believe it when it's on a store shelf, till then I don't believe it. I don't think it needs any improvements but maybe it's just me....LOL Apr 15 14 11:24 am Link Marin Photography NYC wrote: You came up with Canon's New Ad Slogan..."We Build Cameras Like it was 2009"! But I think it was Cnet's Lori Grunin who said Canon still builds cameras like it was 2008! Lol Apr 15 14 11:42 am Link DOUGLASFOTOS wrote: If it's not broke...you know the rest...LOL Apr 15 14 11:51 am Link Marin Photography NYC wrote: I like my 7D but if they introduce a better version I will probably purchase it. Apr 15 14 11:55 am Link Jerry Nemeth wrote: That made me stop and think. My 7D is just fine too. What improvements are needed? Apr 15 14 12:03 pm Link The 7D kicks major ass, even with the big boys of 2013! Apr 15 14 03:58 pm Link I got the 5Dmark3 last year, and the 60D as well, so I'm pretty covered for full frame and crop sensor for the next couple of years, I'll worry about a new camera when the 5D mark 4 is announced. Apr 15 14 10:33 pm Link Only when the existing gears needs replacing will I start looking at the market, happy with the bodies I have currently. Next body will probably be the 5D5 or even the 5D6, I'm in no hurry to spend my money for a marginal gain. T Apr 15 14 10:55 pm Link Marin Photography NYC wrote: Now this is only me..and my thoughts. In my port...there is represented a collage of cameras...from Sony's A77, Canon's 7D, and Canon's Mark 2..Nikon's D40x and Nikon's D300, and even, I think a Leica M9. But, this is just me...Nikon's D800 is Rock Solid, and destroys whatever I used before. The D800 it is the best camera for me. My photography style has changed...it used to be rapid fire, get in much as possible. Today, it is one picture at a time. Apr 15 14 11:17 pm Link I have M and 60D, so I'm interested in 7D II and M3. For 7D II they need more than dual pixel sensor, 70D still does not have the greatest sensor. For M3 - 70D dual pixel sensor to improve the focus and bigger body with more controls would be great Apr 15 14 11:30 pm Link Raoul Isidro Images wrote: Quality over quantity? They could all suck... Hopefully Canon delivers good cameras, but it's a little late for me. I'm switching to Nikon. Apr 16 14 12:17 am Link Whatever happened to the long-rumored 40/50/60mp 1Dbfg? Apr 16 14 01:13 am Link DOUGLASFOTOS wrote: Yes, but Canons have more pleasing skin tones in the studio. IMHO. Apr 16 14 01:22 am Link Robb Mann wrote: Just a rumor apparently... Apr 16 14 01:24 am Link It'll be a crop baby 1DX. Apr 16 14 01:52 am Link London Fog wrote: You mean...Photoshop has more pleasing skin tones. I get it. sssshhh..your secret is save with me. Apr 16 14 03:41 am Link I know everyone is excited...Here it is..White! http://www.canonwatch.com/canon-announc … m-lens-uk/ Apr 16 14 03:44 am Link DOUGLASFOTOS wrote: Well, yes and no. Obviously it's easy to manipulate any RAW image in PS/LR etc, but it sure helps if the original source image is pretty accurate to begin with. In this respect Canon score highly! A very good solid camera with poor focusing capabilities. I wondering how (why) they went from "M" to "M3"? Apr 17 14 06:14 pm Link Bare Essential Photos wrote: M2 was a limited release in China and Japan, where the buyers don't really care about focusing issues. Apr 17 14 07:34 pm Link 7d mark II has to come short of the 6d ... so it will be crop sensor dual pixel , but same autofocus as 5d but its gonna not have touch screen or it wont be weather sealed way too exspensive .. as you know they can make anything but can they nake a profit aswell .. if you look at price 70d is 1299 6d is 1699 where can they put the 7d mark II? other problem is 7d are still strong seller .. why would they kill a successful camera answer is they wont ... Apr 17 14 10:25 pm Link I wonder if they're going to slap the same old 18mp sensor in all of them Apr 17 14 10:51 pm Link Paul Best wrote: Is it really still a strong seller? I think it is still a "respectable" seller, but I think it is probably being outsold by the 70d and the 6D. Apr 17 14 11:14 pm Link Jose Deida wrote: Yes...isn't it still 2008? Canon thinks so. Remember Canon's 5D Mark II went from 21.1mp to hang on to your wigs and keys, Canon 5D Mark lll 22.3mp. Wow and massive increase of 1.2mp. I know it is not the size of MP. I suspect it will continue to be a better camera then the 6D but less than the 5DMkIII. Apr 19 14 08:27 am Link The 6D was Canon's April fool! Apr 19 14 02:10 pm Link One of Canon's best decision was to release the 6D, just asked Ken Marcus! In the hands of a photographer, it can pump out some awesome images! Many are looking at it with much favor : ) Apr 19 14 04:36 pm Link |
