Blotting Out the Boob
I have seen some very creative ways that photographers have used to hide nipples on Facebook (and some very bad one's). Interested to other photo's creative ways of blotting the nipple for facebook. Apr 19 14 10:19 am Link OP: you might do better by using google to pull examples. Really, there is no one way to censor an image. It is dependent upon how the image is photographed, and what the pose is really. Most simply put black bars across areas and post anyways. There is still no guarantee that someone will not report the image unfortunately if they find offense in it. Yes, there are those people out there unfortunately. You could always upload the uncensored image to your own space as well, and link on FB with a warning that the image is 18+. Again, various ways, and it depends on the shot. good luck Apr 19 14 10:46 am Link Charlie-CNP wrote: Not a post to learn how.... just find some of the more creative or unique ways fun to see. Wanted the creatives to show what they have done. And not worried about censorship. Just a "share you creativity" post.... Otherwise, most of the other nudes that I have seen photographers post on FB are black bars as I mention. I don't mean to discourage your "share your creativity" post, but I think honestly that you might get crickets as a lot of folks either shy away from posting nudes due to FB rules, or use the simple method of black bars/lighting dependent on the pose. You still might get more ideas by google really, but who knows, maybe MM will help with more that are out there too. Apr 19 14 10:53 am Link Smiley faces always do the trick! Apr 19 14 10:56 am Link I typically use little white smears as opposed to black bars. https://www.facebook.com/johnallanstudio Apr 19 14 11:11 am Link Black bars are the most obvious way of showing that an unedited version can be found at a less censored location. I have seen hearts, smiley faces, screaming pussycats, thunderbolts, astronauts... Apr 19 14 11:14 am Link I use facebooks own logo, so at least people are in no doubt why they are censored. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid … =1&theater Apr 19 14 11:22 am Link Happy faces always works. Apr 19 14 11:26 am Link In a nature shot I used leaves. In a St. Patrick's Day shot I used horseshoes. In a shot where the model was made as a Klingon, I used the Klingon emblem. They looked funny...like they could spin. Sometimes I just clone out the nipples so the breast is all skin colored which really looks strange. I have used my initials, the letters FB...and black bars. I haven't used a smiley face but I have used the frown. Apr 19 14 11:55 am Link I photoshop a male nipple over it. Apr 19 14 12:16 pm Link Artifice wrote: I wonder if this would work...don't do anything and just say you Photoshopped a male nipple over it. Intentionally blur the area around it a little to sell it. Apr 19 14 12:21 pm Link How about........ $ $ $ Apr 19 14 12:30 pm Link If you are using Photoshop, you could always "heal" over the nipples, or cut and paste similar skin tones over it. Do not know if it will fall within FB no nudity clause, but there is no nipple showing. Apr 19 14 12:37 pm Link Artifice wrote: Won't help. Apr 19 14 04:52 pm Link I use ugly black boxes that are purposely a little larger than they need to be just show my disdain that I have to do it in the first place. But... I know. Their site, their rules. I follow them. Apr 19 14 05:03 pm Link Apr 19 14 05:11 pm Link Revenge Photography wrote: I do the same thing. Apr 20 14 10:40 am Link FB is such a mixed bag! It's all down to if someone reports an image or not. A friend recently had a picture taken down even though the models arms covered her breasts. Apr 20 14 10:52 am Link I won't blot it out and I won't post it on Facebook. Most models I work with don't want any risque images on FB either because they have family on there.
