hello everyone this my first post .. my question is about equipment.
I am planning to buy two new strobes lights, but I'm not sure which brand I should. Currently I'm using elinchrom. But I'm looking for 1000w heads with faster recharge that can I get. Someone recommend me the prophoto strobes. any comments or suggestions?
I usually work in studio or indoor locations.
Tks a lot!

I do not have a recommendation but IMO good idea to state some type of budget.

I like Elinchrom but they are not as fast a recharge as profoto if that is what you really need.  I don't shoot that fast and I am happy with them or my older speedotron packs

I use Dynalite. Power packs are small and they sell kits too.

The limits on recycle time - based on my observations may be how much power can come from the wall without blowing circuits.

I remember selling some 220 packs to people to overcome this problem.

Right now - I think 1000 watt seconds draws about 8 amps so 2 will be the limit on a 15 amp circuit..

For them to charge faster than 1 second would draw more power.

Also you will have slower recycle times when you are running on battery power instead of household current.

I second Dynalites for fast recycle times in that power range.  Although that is a lot more power than I typically need.  It all depends on the subject.
