I love contouring but I find that the brushes I have (which are all pretty old, to be honest) aren't very well suited for it. I was wondering if any models/MUAs could recommend some of your favourite brushes? smile I shop for make up mostly at Sephora but I'm always willing to try something new! Price is not really an obstacle; if the brush is good quality and will last, I'm willing to pay more for it.

Thanks! smile

I love ecotools!
They make a deluxe fan brush for contouring. Great for everyday use.

The best brushes around are by Hakuhodo, they can be bought on their website.

Otherwise try

Blur makeup room brushes
Wayne Goss brush line
PixiWoo's brush line at Ulta
Esum Brushes
Bdellium

These are the best brush lines out there.

Smashbox, Royal&Langnickel, MAC, MakeupForever, Sephora all carry nice brushes as well, but they are not top quality. Like the ones listed above.

Hakuhodo brushes are unbelievably amazing and worth every penny.

But I really like the Real techniques contour brush (comes in a set) for cream, and my mac 109 for powder/precision

There's a ton of great contour brushes. I absolutely love the double ended brush. One side contour the other blush and diffuse highlight. Try the Lancôme Cheek & Contour brush. Love

NARS Ita brush, the Sigma F84 angled kabuki and sometimes I use the Sigma F35 tapered highlighter to contour.
