NBA Off-Season
Let's devote this thread to any discussion about what will happen in the NBA this off-season. Any NBA related discussion is welcome. For example: ... Where will LeBron, Melo, Love play next season? ... Will Timmy retire? ... Would you take Embiid in the draft, given his foot problems? ... What will happen with the Clippers? Go! Jun 20 14 08:21 am Link I think Pat Rily is a hypocrite. Years ago, he enticed LeBron away from Cleveland. Now he says that LeBron lacks guts if he chooses not to stay in Miami. Do you think LeBron will have a series of TV specials to announce his decision this time? Jun 20 14 08:23 am Link Poor Donald Sterling: Okay, Sterling is not a sympathetic character, given all he has said & done. But I am semi-appalled at how his privacy has been violated: those recorded phone calls were probably obtained illegally, and geez, who wants their supposedly confidential medical diagnosis talked about on the Internet & on all the news networks? Jun 20 14 08:26 am Link Orlando is hoping to get an NBA team next season . . . SOS Jun 20 14 03:13 pm Link Really? No one cares? That's significant. Jun 21 14 08:29 am Link Looknsee Photography wrote: The finals just ended a week ago. Jun 21 14 10:16 am Link Melo isn't walking away from $30 million guaranteed dollars. That conversation needs to stop. Jun 21 14 01:26 pm Link Duncan Hall wrote: Melo announced today he was becoming a free agent. Jun 22 14 02:50 pm Link Stephen Dawson wrote: Doesn't mean he's leaving. And I'd love to see him with the Bulls, but $30 million is $30 million. Jun 22 14 03:49 pm Link Duncan Hall wrote: Melo stated that he wanted to sign with a contender. That excludes the Knicks, who still have another year of salary cap problems. Jun 23 14 09:06 am Link News to date: Melo opt'd out of his Knick contract. That doesn't mean that the Knicks won't re-sign him, but I think he wants to go elsewhere. LeBron has opt'd out, too. The pundits say that the top four teams who will sign him are Miami, Miami, Miami, and Chicago. I think both are possible, but there are others in the mix. Timmy is returning to San Antonio next season -- good for him. The Lakers have a tradition, but they sure sucked last year. I think they dumped players so that they might be able to entice a big name free agent. I don't know if they will be successful -- they have more problems that a name free agent will solve. Let the fireworks begin. Jun 24 14 08:38 am Link Looknsee Photography wrote: Its a power play & the overall message was that just because a team didn't win THIS year, the tools aren't still there to win next year. If anybody has credibility on this matter, Pat Riley does with his 5 championships in 12 years with the Lakers. Looknsee Photography wrote: God, I hope not! Jun 24 14 08:50 am Link ... you can bet there will be "The Decision II" It's not about the game anymore, everyone knows That. The NBA and LbJ is nothing more than a made for TV reality show now and Lebron is ESPN's Kim Kardashian Jun 24 14 08:33 pm Link |
