Well, I was going to post, but I see that someone has already very clearly posted some Good Sense. Thank you Jules.

Maybe this would work for you. (Café entrance in a trendy neighbourhood in Berlin. The barrier is to prevent mothers with buggies from entering the café.)

I walked away from jobs in as little as a day and a half. Left for lunch, never went back. Couple others took 2-3 days. I had jobs I wasn't crazy about, but I'd never stay anywhere I was miserable.

We were/are lucky, we have two good kids - well behaved, well educated, polite, speak well, focused, and love life.

But this is just me.

Just for the record, and I really don't know why, I've worked in the food service industry way back in my tender young days. It's not the kids. It their effing parents! I mean really, leaving a dirty diaper on the table? Just like a dog crapping in your yard. It's not the dogs fault. It's what they do. But you can't shoot the owner. We really need to re-evaluate our terms of responsibility. Someone craps in my yard or on the table I'm waiting on I want the right to fling the poo right back at them! Just like a monkey at the zoo! Ook ook!!!
