I really dont get to shoot much these days but recently decided to try to fit in the rest of various projects I have been working on with my daughter for years now. So, Yesterday I finally made a whole 20 mins to shoot another from the 'outside influence' project we have had ongoing since she was pretty small(not that she is big now)there are more sets to come over the next few weeks, all a take on the perceived stereotypes on how children react to the media. This chapter is called "I dont like Mondays" We had a long talk about the subject matter, whys and hows and so on, it became quite philosophical...these are the results. Jul 07 14 01:56 am Link Hey, she's your daughter. I have two of my own, but in all sincerity, this seems a tad irresponsible. Sure you may have spoken to your own little girl regarding the complexities, pitfalls and gruesome results of gun violence, but what about all the other kiddies who relate to this same age group. How do you think they might react to seeing this image portraying one of their peers in these circumstances, do you think they might relate this directly to seeking revenge on Mommy or Daddy? Or perhaps they'll relate it to that little fuc#er in class who just won't let up on the bullying. Guns are a serious problem in some parts of the world, not that I'm anti guns, I poses many of my own. But when I see kid's in the media killing others with guns on a regular basis, I strongly feel that glamorising gun use is one of the last things we need. What's the message you're trying to portray here? What's the storyline?
