I've updated my portfolio and added a few new pictures. Please let me know what you think and let me know how your ideas of how I could improve my work. Any sort of serious feedback is greatly appreciated. I thank you all in advance for your replies. And happy Friday! Az Jul 11 14 10:41 am Link I have often wondered how people can give a proper assessment of someone's work without knowing their goals. What outcome do you want from these photos? Develop a strategy for your modeling and it will help you weed out images that are not in line with your goals. Danny Jul 11 14 02:13 pm Link I like you, keep shooting and trying new things! There is a mischievous confidence in your expression that connects well in photos. Jul 11 14 07:38 pm Link You look so sad, with this hat and all of its color would expect a happy very outgoing model pose. Speaking of that hat the photo is more about the hat then you This on the other hand is very captivating, wish models left hand were not at head, fingers seem to be a distraction [To see what I mean, make a print of the photo, then cover up right side of photo so you can not see the hand] This photo works well, just wish I could see left toes Great look, wish you well Jul 13 14 07:08 am Link #1 We can see that you have a lovely face and figure but the dress combined with the background are very distracting. #2 Nice pose, good eye contact BUT tatooed arm is distracting and there's a green color cast on your face. #3 Nice head shot but your eyes are made white by reflectors(?). We want to see the color of your eyes to complement the nails. White irises look strange. #4 Nice pose, good eye contact (and your eyes are blue. Lee Photo is correct, the shot is much better without your arm - it' looks unnatural. #5 Way too much going on in the photo plus sad expression make this a not keeper. #6 Very harsh light detracts from your looks. Your expression would be acceptable but the light is so harsh it makes your expression hard. #7 Nice expression and pose. Very distracting environment, your tattoo does not go with your outfit (could have sat facing other way) and the light is hard and obvious. Why do I care, when you look lovely? Because noone like to hack through jungle to get to a destination. #8 Hard to see your face due to position, hard shadows are distracting, awkward left leg position (or is it the lighting?). #9 Great, even though you can't see your whole face, it's enough and we can see your figure. #10 Seeing your face here would have been perfect. #11 Um, no. It's an ad for the photographer - you are barely in the picture. <img src='http://photos.modelmayhem.com/photos/140528/09/53860800e2ef6.jpg' /> #12 Yes! Everything is in place. Dramatic and you are the focus. #13 This should be your best shot, but something's off. Your head looks too large for the rest of you. None of your other shots look that way. Nice eye contact and expression. Find photographers who know their lighting. You and Black Cat seem to work well. A smile isn't necessary but could be a nice change. Watch how your tattooed arm is interacting with your outfit and/or background. Do more shoots, I'd like to see more. Jul 23 14 08:39 am Link |
