Hi,
I was contacted by Modeltest.biz, and they said they have Peter Baratti shoot you for a fee of $350-$400 and he helps get you magazine work, and an agent.  They use his name as a source to get you into the print world but you have to pay for the test shoot with him.  While he is a very established photographer, has he ever helped models get work, or is it a ploy to just make money when he isn't booked?

Thanks!

First, yes photos with a good photographer can help get work, more so if you are freelance.
Second, breaking into the the business is difficult for 16 year olds with agency stats.
Third, yes it's a scam agency and there are several online complaints about this particular scam.

Ok, I thought so... I am doing other work on here, and they were trying to say oh we have a target for your age range, etc.  I pretty much am shooting pics with photographers I like on here, but when I was A LOT younger I was with an agency.

Stay far, far away from Peter Baratti! The only reason that sleaze even does photography is to hit on beautiful women and manipulate them to get into their pants. That man is beyond twisted.

Hannah isn’t wrong. I had a horrible experience with that guy. Never again.

CASTING CALL: WOMEN 18-35 WANTED FOR MAXIM STYLE MAGS AN OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE $15K A MONTH AS A SOCIAL MEDIA MODEL.

any legitimate agency is not stupid enough to promise a new model they sign, and whom they consider has potential, any kind of work. nor will they offer them an opportunity to make any amount of money each month at all. and that's the real top model agencies out there.

now if those agencies, with large clients, will not do it, what basis in reality do you figure this website will offer that opportunity of $15k a month to an unknown model whom they have never laid their eyes on in person?
