I remember when you were in RI, I read a post that you are willing to share your skills at no charge (no money exchanges) to other photographers who want to assist you and learn from you.  You also did a few video tutorials.  I thought that was pretty cool and generous on your part.

You want me to pay you for me to teach you what I know. What the hell is wrong with some people.

I would never go out of my way to message a photographer tell them I want to assist them because I want to learn from them but that I also expect to be paid for the privilege.

If I am going to pay an assistant I am going to pay for someone  with experience and whom I trust why the hell would I take on a random who clearly said they want to learn from me because they don't know what they are doing.

I just can't believe the entitlement of some individuals.

EDIT: Exact words where I would like for you to let me come to one of your shoots, for you to teach me your techniques and let me shoot and pay me for my time.

Some people's audacity can be mind boggling yes?
