Today I received an email from Grand Recruiters and this is what it said

" Hello, a make up artist is needed to work with molds for a product ad. Shoots will last for 5-7 hours with 2 shoot sessions,pay is $120/hour. If interested please reply.

P.S. Saw your profile on Model Mayhem

Regards."

Has anyone else received a message from this company? I have not been able to find any info about them online.

Hey! Yes i have received that measage as well! I am thinking about getting off of here because all of my jobs have never been obtained from here and i get only spam jobs from here!

I haven't heard much on this one... but all members are strongly encouraged to learn about common scam techniques. Scammers love working on people with big dreams.

Now, that being said. Most Mua/Hair/Stylists I know on MM do not get much work here HOWEVER, there are some world class industry artists lurking here and you might be shocked at who you find if you search the forum archives. The main value most of us find here on MM is networking and building peer networks.
