I can see myself really liking that guy because he's funny in this sarcastic, misanthropic way, but then within six months realizing he's just too miserable, and self-hating, to stand being around very much longer. Sort of like most of the people I find myself attracted to. I like their sardonic, self-deprecating wit, then figure out eventually that they genuinely hate themselves and everything else, while I only find it funny and don't actually hate anything.
