haha! very cool. i was going to say that they must have been from hoity toity school system to afford those mics, but a studio in nashville let them record in it.

very nice.

i love the idiot commentators that want to nitpick nuances in their rendition. chumps.

That's really old but I love it every time I hear it. smile

Look how many kids they had to get to replicate 4 guys doing a song. tongue

But they're middle school kids - and spectacular talents.  The drummer killed me!

well....tool did use overdubs on the record, and the percussion sounds are triggered samples when they play the song live.

and they are freaking middle school kids! smile

they could have done without the piano, but it's not too much of a distraction.

I'm kidding guys calm down.

I love the drummer kid. He's like trying really hard and simultaneously saying; "fuck yeah!"

I've been listening to O'Keefe's students for a bit now, and I still can't get over "46 & 2" (though I'll always have a soft spot for "You Could Be Mine."  That one girl rocked the vocals).  They have a link somewhere, where you can download all of their songs for free, legitimately.

F'ing amazing talent. There is hope for the future generation even if a few of the kids come out like these.

Where is the little like button on here?? smile

Absolutely stunning rendition, by a super-talented and passionate group. Huge props to everyone involved, and thanks for sharing this.

Just rekindled my love of Tool.

P.S. Someone else was in black&white also (guitar or bass methinks).
