any other really slim models out there?
i'm tall and thin and it's a struggle for me to gain weight, I stopped trying about a year or two ago. i've come to terms that I just naturally have a small bone structure. I'm not bony but I look tiny. Aug 17 14 05:25 pm Link Own it! I consider my natural weight and frame as part of my unique look and "brand" as a model. I know it makes me different and therefore has been a draw for many photographers with whom I have worked. Aug 17 14 09:32 pm Link your measurements don't seem to be far from what agencies would be looking for. Aug 17 14 09:45 pm Link dave phoenix wrote: Agreed. Super slim to the average person is standard. Aug 17 14 09:48 pm Link I am guessing just about every other standard model out there. Your height and weight are in the norm for professional models, check in with some legit agencies and see what they think. Aug 17 14 10:04 pm Link Slim, skinny, thin, small boned, and bone definition are all different attributes. You can have large bones, little meat, and be considered skinny, but still look big. Or weak bone definitions, but long and slim, but not a good defined model. There are so many factors that come into play when it comes to even just being "slim". Aug 17 14 10:21 pm Link I'm thinner than most... actually, all... agency models i've met. Aug 18 14 01:05 am Link You are very, very lucky. Most people struggle to keep fat off their bodies. I absolutely cannot understand people who are sad about being ectomorphic, especially women. You guys can put on only 3 pounds of lean muscle, and look ripped. People like me can build and build and build, then have to spend months restricting calories and starving ourselves, before any of the hard work will even show. Omg, what I'd give to be a scrawny little bitch. You have nooo idea. Aug 18 14 08:12 am Link You look great...shut it! Aug 18 14 08:24 am Link 113lbs with a 32DD bra size. I haven't been able to go out for Fashion gigs because although everything else about me may be industry standard, my bra size is not the b cup that they request. Oh well, I get in where I fit in, when I fit in. Aug 18 14 08:30 am Link I say own it, but if you haven't already try some bodybuilding. Someone with a small frame like yours could likely get some beautiful tone with not as much effort as say, me. Maybe because I'm used to working with a lot of models that look much smaller than you. Aug 19 14 04:35 pm Link Slim Jim with a lil curve Aug 19 14 04:40 pm Link Call Me Caitlin wrote: There are many other tall slender models, and models with very small bone structure... lovingly referred to as bird bones. Aug 20 14 09:50 pm Link you're all my type, love to work with all of you. Aug 20 14 09:54 pm Link I'm the same! I'm really slim too and just cannot seem to put on weight. But you look great, I honestly wouldn't worry about it. You have a great portfolio. Aug 21 14 12:42 am Link I once knew a girl who was too beautiful, she didn't know what to do about it. So then she learned to live with it. LoL Aug 21 14 07:44 am Link Tori Alice Descoteaux wrote: Yes. At some point in later life you may gain weight and you'll wish for younger days. I was tall and very thin at your age. I ate everything and couldn't gain weight. Girls wouldn't go out with me because I was too thin. When I hit my early thirties I decided to gain weight so I ate like a pig. Kielbasas, eggs, cheese, etc. I finally gained weight. Now I'd like to get rid of my extra weight but it's damn hard. Be happy with what you got. You look great! Aug 21 14 08:48 pm Link nice! Aug 22 14 02:19 am Link I've had all these problems too! Haha Like when the clothing reviews at some designer store say to size down and you're already the smallest size, it's just like ughhh. But on the upside I pretty much eat anything I want whenever I want. I like that part. But people being insensitive and telling me to gain weight when it's physically impossible for me are just annoying. I'm a strong advocate for not commenting on someone's weight, no matter what side of the spectrum you fall on. everyone is beautiful, every body is beautiful. And especially in modeling, all sorts of body types are amazing! Sep 09 14 07:16 pm Link Better to be a little bit thin, than too heavy. Remember, the camera adds at least 5 lbs. to you, to start with. There are a lot of models who would like to have your "problem". LOL. Sep 13 14 12:25 am Link While I wouldn't classify myself as "really slim" (just "regular slim"), I have never desired to gain or lose weight, since either way I would just have to buy new clothes (and not be able to wear my favorite older clothing items)! I have, on occasion, wanted to gain some muscle tone- but I am just too lazy to go to the gym... Sep 13 14 12:37 am Link Why do you want to gain weight? I don't want to sound rude but if you were agency signed you would be considered "too large" and end up doing catalogues and swimwear. I was 79cm-58cm-89cm when I got signed and EVERYONE was telling me I was too large on my hips. So, no. You're just fine. Hot and fine! Sep 13 14 10:28 am Link |
