and horizon my portfolio!! How do people feel about alternative models? Sep 10 14 07:02 pm Link Welcome to the Mayhem. I'm not close but I am sure you will find photographers. Sep 10 14 07:16 pm Link Hi, i love working with alterative models. After many years of shooting i have come to learn that beauty comes in all shapes, sizes and ages. I will take uniquely beautiful over barbie pretty anyday. I have been working on tattoo bodyscapes for awhile. I believe quality tattoos should be photographed as art. You have some outstanding tattoos that i would have loved to have worked with if we were closer. Good luck with your modeling and thank you for your service. Bob Sep 10 14 07:22 pm Link Love them! Welcome to the Mayhem. Sep 10 14 07:31 pm Link Welcome to the site. Sep 10 14 08:21 pm Link Sep 10 14 11:48 pm Link Welcome aboard. Check your inbox. Sep 11 14 09:26 am Link Hi: The second button from the left is browse. Use that feature to search for photographers, artists and people in your area. There is an option that allows you to search for people that have been active within the last year. You can set that to be 30 days, 60, or whatever. That is a very useful tool. The browse feature is simple. Once you find a bunch of photographers and artist near the places you live, and travel, read their profiles, look at their ports and start contacting the ones that are close by ad within a range that you feel is reasonable. You can contact them in four easy ways. You can select a photo you like from their port. You can list that photo or post a comment. Both things MAY generate a response. They may not. You can also tag their profile on their profile page. I am not aware of a limit on the number of tags you can post in a day. The best way to contact a person is via PM. You get five a day. Use all five every day. It doesn't seem like much, but over a month, you will contact everybody around. This method will generate some responses and some work. Be respectful. Respond quickly. Also, continue to use the forums. Read them a lot, post a little, start threads less, until you know what is going on. Avoid controversial subjects! How do you know if a subject is controversial? Read the forums a lot, post a little, start threads less. You will make some contacts through the forums. You will also get a feel for other people and what pit falls you may run into in the modeling world Good luck Sep 11 14 07:47 pm Link |
