I plan to find an amazing photographer to update my portfolio but I want to know what shots are needed. Oct 22 14 10:12 pm Link Hey Danielle! I have looked through and think that what you are missing is some colour! I like the yellow bikini on the bike, but the rest of your port is fairly dark and bland. Some bright colour and contrast would really make it pop! Oct 22 14 10:43 pm Link G'day, just looked through your portfolio of images. Need to find a photographer who can shape your natural body curves with actual real light (studio or natural) rather than add in light during editing. Also, anyone who uses liposuction during their editing clearly has no idea how to light or pose their subjects...avoid these people. Choose a photographer that displays mastery of light and shadow on location. Avoid the ones that also "dodge and burn" because they have no clue how to manipulate light and shadow on location. Take all the above into account, when I say 99% of your current images have little thought with using real light and shadow that suits your physique. ...and what was also mentioned previously, need more colour from that rainbow. I think you need some black and whites on simple, darker (but not black) backgrounds. Oct 23 14 12:32 am Link Sennia Kyle wrote: Personally, I won't even open an image that looks too dark! Those images are spectacular Oct 23 14 04:29 am Link This has to be your best image in your portfolio What do you need, as good as this photo is; I bet you can even take it to the next level. Try this as a studio style headshot, what I am trying to get across, if you look at your eyes there is just a small catch light in the middle of your eyes, with studio style lighting the photographer would use a large soft box or shoot through umbrella set at an angle that would produce a much larger catch light. Wish you well Oct 23 14 05:35 am Link I think most of what you have is glamour related. Your answer is simple........add images from your other genres, and when you add those genres, do not take the glamour approach to them. i.e. for lingerie, shoot a fashion look, and not a glamour look. BTW (in jest), I am still mad at you for not picking me up at the Little Rock airport; is it because I insisted on staying at your place and insisted that your brother leave for a few days?. Oct 23 14 04:00 pm Link I would say better locations, more interesting locations....looks like you've done a lot of photo shoots indoors, but shooting on mostly black or white backdrops gets old after awhile imo. More location photography (more outdoors!) where the photographer uses a shallow depth of field (ie: blurred background). I'm not seeing a lot of depth/dimension in the scenes in your photos - like there is no more than 3' to 6' behind you, which is making your photos appear more flat. Agree with the comment about color. A lot of that can be accomplished with both good styling and good location scouting. More varied angles, more shots from a distance that capture the entire scene, with you as part of that scene (as opposed to all closer-in shots). Oct 23 14 04:23 pm Link Thanks everyone. I'll see if I can maybe connect with a fashion photographer soon. I never really had an interest in fashion modeling but it wouldn't hurt to try something new Oct 26 14 04:35 pm Link I would suggest trying outdoor locations. Oct 26 14 05:35 pm Link Hi Danielle, I'm not a photographer, but I can give you my opinion as a fellow model. I find that you awesome curves, but you have too much glamour and lingerie pictures. Your port is missing of diversity. Also, if I find that your red hair stands out too much which feel that your look is always the same. You are gorgeous and so you would advise you to get some artistic nudes or bodyscapes, some natural light outdoor or studio shots, some shots in black and white and get some TFs with great quality photographer for some stunning pictures of you. Hope this helps you. Oct 27 14 05:22 pm Link MLT Model wrote: Thanks for the advice. I changed my hair but I have no photos with the new style since I've been busy with other projects. I'll try to add more artistic stuff although glam and lingerie is what I'm usually hired for. We'll see... Oct 29 14 10:32 am Link you're missing quality.
