Umbrella and zoom reflector on main dock were set to about f16. Beaty dish with grid on far dock (foreground in pic) was set to full power (600 watts) and not metered. I was just hoping this light would help to separate models from water/background which it did by providing minimal rim lighting (not noticeable).

On the second image when I was behind the diving board, the beauty dish provided the nice specular highlights on the water giving a moonlight type effect as if they were swimming at night.

Piotr, thanks for taking the time to compile this and sharing it here, I appreciate the effort you have put into doing so, as I am sure many others will.

I can't imagine Well, maybe I can...) anyone being upst over this. What a tool! You know what I would have given for something like this back in the school days!

Can you say iPad? This is a killer thing to have for those moments when one needs that little surge of inspiration! Thanks for this, it's a glorious idea!!!

The green that you see is gaffers tape around the edge of the dish. I use this on all of my gear so I can see at a glance which product is mine and which product is rented. It helps both myself and my assistants during teardown. Its an easy way to make sure that your owned gear doesn’t get mixed up with rental gear.
