About Me

Associate photographer at Exclusiv Magazine, a part of the Elan Vital magazine family.

Published nationally and internationally.

My story is short, but long in the making. My family and I moved back to Phoenix, Arizona in the spring of 2016 after 7 years of living in small town America, Roanoke, Virginia. We were not new to the Valley of the Sun since I had spent almost 20 years in the desert before our east coast experiment.
While in Virginia, my amazing wife gave me the opportunity to start my own photography/video production company. I was finally able to put my love of photography and film production to use. We did okay at first, but the makeup of the community didn’t fare well for a startup video company. And after producing a few music and political videos, we had to shut that part of the business down. Which then gave me the opportunity to concentrate on my photographic art. I became proficient at capturing the beauty of the Blue Ridge, and its surroundings. And sold several works in the art galleries of southwestern Virginia.
But my true love has always been storytelling through my images. Many of my works are of rural, abandoned buildings. Looking at them, I try to imagine the stories behind the walls that now stand crumbling and in disrepair. The happiness, the sadness, the love, and the despair that might have occurred inside those old walls just made my creative juices flow even more. So I started adding models to my work. Which led me to portraits.
So here I am in Phoenix, trying to jump into the photography scene by reaching out to anyone who will look and see the vision of my work. I have been diligently trying to show my portrait work, and feel it’s time to offer my unique services to the art community.
My booking rates are very competitive. And my package rates are even better. On a side note, I do not use Photoshop. I do use design programs, but the majority of my work is meticulously done by my hand on computer mouse. I do not use a whole lot of scripts that someone else has come up with to bring my visions to light. I try to make my work as unique as the individual I am capturing.
Anyway, check out my work. Call me if you have a vision. Because we might be having a shared vision.
