I've been involved with photography since the late 1980s, having worked for professional studios and out in the field as a photographer. Today I have my own studio and do part-time work as a photographer. I also run a variety of web sites and online magazines, so much of my work ends up on the web, but also some in print.

I'm very easy to get along with and very much enjoy the photography work that I do. I am interested in work having to do with fitness and martial arts as well as casual, general stock, lingerie, and much more.

Policies:

My arrangement with models may take three forms.

1. The model pays me for professional photos. I usually charge around $100/hr. So a 2 hour photo shoot would be around $300-$400 when you add the time for setup and image manipulation.

2. We collaborate in a trade agreement where I give away my professional photos (for portfolio use) and advice in exchange for the time of the model and her consent to release of rights for the photos. As mentioned above I only do this for specific projects.

3. I need a model who is already familiar with the industry and has a very specific look for a very specific project. In this case I pay the model a reasonable hourly rate for her time and experience. I expect paid models to already know how to pose and to require only a little guidance and minor suggestions/tweaks.

Please understand that my time is very valuable. I charge a very reasonable rate of $100/hr because I love this type of work. In my other profession I charge far more than this.

If we decide to work together I ask that you be on time to your appointment and be ready to start working in a reasonable time.

Important: My hourly rate starts at the beginning of our appointment. The model's time starts about five minutes before she is ready to shoot the first picture.

If a model must cancel an appointment she should do so as far in advance as possible. Same day cancellations or no-shows will only be rescheduled after payment of the $100 cancellation fee.

If a model is more than 15 minutes late for our appointment, the model will be responsible for paying my hourly fees for the time he or she is late.

All models MUST call me on the day of the shoot to confirm our appointment. If I do not hear from a model on our scheduled shoot day, I will not go to the studio. For this reason, the model must provide me with a phone number to confirm the shoot time in order for me to add it to my calendar.

Again, if I cannot reach the model via telephone on the day of the shoot, our shoot is automatically cancelled and will not be rebooked without payment of the cancellation fee.

Shoots are scheduled with a specific purpose in mind. If a model is unable to perform the agreed upon services due to lack of experience, failure to bring the required items, or she just doesn't feel comfortable, than our payment arrangement must be renegotiated. Likewise if there's a problem with the model or escort during the shoot, I have the right to cancel all services immediately and ask that you depart the premises.

If a model has illness, injuries, or other anomalies that show up near our shoot day, the model should inform me as soon as possible. For example, if a model has a rash or numerous visible bruises I need to be informed because it may impact the amount of time required to retouch the photos. In some cases it may be best to reschedule the shoot. If you want something specific retouched, such as a small tattoo or birthmark removed, please tell me. Larger adjustments will incur a fee. I'm not a photoshop guru by any means, so I'm not going to fix your tan lines or do anything drastic.

I realize there are a lot of very professional models out there, but it is my long experience and very busy schedule that requires such strict policies.
