How & Where to book Hegre-Art.com models? (18+)
Does anyone know how and where to book some of the European models that appear on www.HEGRE-ART.com when they travel to the US?
Is there an agency where most of his models are booked thru, perhaps a european version of Model Mayhem? Has any photographer here worked with one of Petter Hegre's models before? For example, if I wanted to hire any of the following models for fashion nude work (much less explicit than Hegre/Met-Art) if and when they travel to the US, how would I book them? Stasha (18+) - http://www.hegre-art.com/models#action=show&id=194 Muriel (18+) - http://www.hegre-art.com/models#action=show&id=170 Tasha (18+) - http://www.hegre-art.com/models#action=show&id=193 Mia (18+) - http://www.hegre-art.com/models#action=show&id=164 [UPDATE] Mia is actually on MM, as model Gaby (https://www.modelmayhem.com/tgabriella) and she lives in Los Angeles, CA. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to contact or book these models? Thanks! ernie --- For those who are not familiar with HEGRE-ART.com: "Hegre-Art.com was created in 2002 as a showcase for Norwegian photographer Petter Hegre. As the pioneer of a more natural and intimate photographic style described as ‘The New Nude’, Petter Hegre has been acknowledged as a new force and major influence on contemporary nude photography." - from http://www.hegre-art.com/about Apr 22 11 09:40 am Link Don't wish to sound like a downer......but keep in mind they would need proper permission to accept paid work in the US Apr 22 11 09:43 am Link Cherrystone wrote: The model must have a U.S. issued picture ID's (drivers license or US passport)

You can't post +18 images in the forums. Either make them links, or this thread will get locked and hidden. Apr 22 11 09:54 am Link i would really like to shoot yanna some time. Apr 22 11 06:21 pm Link foreign models can get a real American ID easily enough. i'm not sure sure if they have to lie to do it, though.
and ironically enough, it can be done in the state that seems to be toughest on immigration. ![]() Apr 22 11 07:10 pm Link As for booking - those models are from any country in Europe or UK
and there is no "one" agency representing them all. Some are LEGIT fashion models ( magazines, runway shows ) whereas others are xxx models. World Models may even handle some of them, so... Call Petre - he'll likely help them get booked and take a commission of 20% and send them all at once for 3 days. YOU announce yourself as the local agent and promote them to other photographers who basically will pay for the trip and hotel and such if you have 3 months advance prep time. But you better have a solid PLAN put together with COSTS and such worked out so he knows you're not wasting time. Send them to Canada ( Toronto ) They can enter easily with H1 or O2 immigration status ( basically, the same status that all musical groups, sports teams, etc come in with - since they have specific notoriety or skills ) These are the dudes I recommend for doing the paperwork and petition: http://www.americanlaw.com/question.html Apr 22 11 08:38 pm Link Dan Howell wrote: I don't believe it is any problem for TF work. It's not a paid gig for either the photographer or model. I shot a visiting friend from Russia for fun once, but that's not what he was talking about. Those models are professionals from all over the world, mostly Europe and Eastern Europe. They surely won't fly all the way over here and shoot Met Art style material for TF. That's just not plausible. So he was talking about shoots intended for chains of commerce. With THAT you need to follow federal work laws. If a foreign model comes here on a tourist visa and works for cash, neither the U.S. nor her native country ever receives any income tax revenue. I know that you (and most of us don't care) but the countries themselves do Apr 23 11 01:17 pm Link Wow... Thank you everyone for your suggestions. I contacted Petter thru his site this weekend. Hopefully I'll get a response. I will let everyone know what I find...
