I really enjoy photographing people. I enjoy the technical challenge of lighting and working with light to create an image. I use a light meter and I test every shot on set when I make a subtle change. I feel this helps me to understand how light operates in my workflow and images so that I can be better at predicting and visualizing changes. I do not rush through a shoot to make 1,000 images. Instead, I spend the time it takes to make a concept image come to life. I use makeup artists because I feel the finished work benefits from their expertise. Photography is expression of art and a channel for one of my artistic talents. I'm also a musician and have shifted my hobby towards music since about 2009. I have kept and updated my equipment but not currently taking any trade projects with models because I'm not shooting. Theres just so much equipment and no space for me to keep it setup. I was most active between 2005 to 2009 when I did my portfolio on trade with local models.

My Favorites Lists include images that are admired by ME and reminders and inspiration for pose, lighting, content, wardrobe or lack of, color or lack of, for future projects. If you see an image that looks out of place in my list, some aspect of the image is a note-to-self.
