About Me

Hello! My name is Nate. I have a number of creative interests as a photographer-- including creating portraits, conceptual pieces, landscapes, and photo essays. I schedule portrait sessions around having a great concept or finding a creative group that are eager to work together. I am also available to create head shot packages for models working to build their core portfolio. If you have a concept for a portrait session or just want to compare ideas for fun, feel free to contact me! I travel frequently.

About:
Nathan Larson is an American photographer and visual artist.

In recent years Nathan created the "250 People Project" which gathered together a group of photographers to create over 250 portraits of residents in a single Vermont town. The 250 people project developed into a new initiative known as photo-folklore, entitled Why We Stay. Nathan is a contributing photographer and editor in the Why We Stay project.

Nathan has published two monographs, Cloud Hunter which features landscapes of Vermont and New Hampshire as well as Avian, which features a variety of photography styles centered around birds.

Nathan has been featured in both volumes of the Capture Vermont series published by the Burlington Free Press and Piedmont Publishing. His work is also featured in the Capture My Vermont Calendar and covered by Vermont Life Magazine.
