With over 20 years of experience creating and sewing medieval outfits for a recreational organization called the SCA, Gail of Scarlet Fairy has begun branching out. She always created clothing for paper dolls as a child, and began sewing at the age of 16 creating and decorating clothing to make her own style. She would often make Halloween costumes for herself and her friends. The first real project she ever attempted other than a kids costume was a satin and velvet pant suit. For those of you who don't know the first thing about sewing, Satin and velvet are not exactly the easiest textures to sew. She was open minded to styles in life and taught her daughter, Serena Star, to be open as well. Over the years she watched as styles came back and new ones arose. As Serena became more involved in the industry as a model and photographer, Gail took part in creating designs for creative photo shoots. Bouncing ideas off of each other, this dynamic team began creating artistic pieces by mixing popular styles and with their own completely original visions. Starting off with a bang, Gail and Serena are launching Scarlet Fairy with several different lines inspired by pinup, burlesque, medieval, bellydance, victorian, lolita, couture designs. They also design and create Jewelry, Tiny hats, and hair flowers.
Gail is the Main Seamstress and a Conceptual Designer of the line,
Serena is the Conceptual Designer and Marketing/Business Manager of the line... (aka I handle the mail here, there, and everywhere)

Serena Star Photography is the main photographer and for our look so we are not looking for TFP with other photographers at this time unless your artistic work will benefit our book. We are working on one project with select creative photographers. For our front page, we want to do several images of Serena

We are currently only looking for specific looks in models for our line. If you are interested, feel free to contact us, but please do not be offended if we do not choose you as a model for this line.
-If you would like to wear our outfits before the line is launched or after, Most of our designs are included when you book a shoot with Serena Star photography.
We are looking to test with Hair and makeup artists!!
Our line is currently not ready to launch for sale, once the line is launched, you can either buy or rent our pieces for your photo shoots. Please remember, Although our pieces are custom, they are shot first on a model for selling so you will not be the only model wearing the piece unless you contact us for a completely custom piece. Also, if you rent and do not buy a piece from us, you will not be the only model wearing it.
-We will tailor a garment to custom fit you -- we only ask that you please visit the studio for a first fitting and consultation, and a second and third fitting if needed.
-If we rent you a garment and you damage it, there will be fees up to the price of the garment depending on how damaged the piece is when you return it.
-If you are late returning a piece, there will be fees for not returning it at the stated date.
