My passion for photography began with a Kodak 126 Instamatic camera and more B&W shots of a B&W cat than anyone - except me - cared to look at. Having shot, developed, and printed film since the '80s, I now love the quick turnaround of digital, and the ability to more easily be creative with the composition and lighting.
I like taking all kinds of shots, but my favorites are ones that tell stories, get people to think, and make you look up and down and back and forth - twice. (Kind of like that feeling when you read something over again, even though you already know what it says, just because of the way it is written.)
Some people just want a shot that shows what they look like; if so, that's what I'll take. It's a good starting point. But even with the most simple shot, much more can be done. A Realtor does not just want prospective clients to see what she looks like, she wants that image to generate confidence. Products can be shot against a plain background, or can have their stories told as well... we can go farther, and also show the happiness in the smile that the new necklace brings to her face!
The real fun comes in developing the image we want to display, especially with emotion or interaction. For example, I find that some of the best shots of children are at Halloween - they are excited about their costume, and it reflects what they were interested in at that point in their lives.
Rates, for session duration listed below, include photographer time during the session, minor retouching and post-production services (after the session duration,) and CD with copies of digital files produced.
* 1 Hour - $75
* 2 Hours - $130 !!! New Business Special: M-Th, 1-3pm $80 !!!
* 4 Hours - $220
* 6 Hours - $300
* 8 Hours - $360
While 1 hour is enough time to take multiple poses or include multiple people, the number of final images produced will depend upon the subjects' ability to 'pose' for the camera. Please do not hesitate to call to discuss your questions.
Print services are available, but not required. Pricing varies with quantity, size, format, and materials. When desired, prints up to 16" x 24" can be printed in house.
With the ultimate goal being a happy client, I ask people to call to discuss ideas, ideally when we can both be looking at examples. That way I find the stylistic clues that lead us in the right direction.

-Escorts? - No problem, but they may be put to work or have their picture taken!
-Do you do TF* shoots? - I'm very open to TF*, mostly on M-Th afternoons.
-What is given with TF*? - I set up a folder on my website for you to download retouched pictures sized to 800 pixels (on the longest side) with my watermark, for posting here. I will also send out higher resolution as requested. Just let me know what you need. This folder will initially be private/ password protected. After a while, I'll make it a public folder with only the best shots from our session for inclusion in my portfolio. For 'mature' subject matter, I may send a disc instead of creating a folder, or simply keep that folder password protected.
