I have been an avid amateur photographer for more than 35 years. I 'work' when I am inspired. If you like to have fun on shoots, if you enjoy a photographer that listens to your ideas, and if you are willing to push the envelope for a chance at something truly spectacular, lets work together.

I enjoy being around creative people and find joy in capturing just the right moment, even when it remains undiscovered until the shoot's review. I love surprises.

I enjoy fishing and sailing and hiking and just about anything else that has me outdoors enjoying the elements. I prefer to work outdoors in natural light, or in extreme contrasting light conditions indoors.

I do not shoot for magazines so if it is fame you seek, there are plenty of outstanding photographers who can help you. I've never made anybody famous.... but some of my work is infamous! lol. If you are looking for that ONE photograph to make your portfolio pop, I might be your guy.

I have plenty of references for you to check, should we be moving towards booking a shoot. I shoot mostly volunteers, but I have been known to pay models from time to time depending on the project and I always cover basic expenses.

I'm not a snob. I happily refer models that I have worked with to others in the industry who's work I appreciate and respect. I don't work with snob's either. Mutual respect is a must, and we will earn it together.

I am very happily married with 3 awesome kids ranging from 15 to 24 so I am NOT looking for a date! lol. I currently split my time between NC/SC and San Diego CA where I have other business interests and enjoy shooting in both locales.
