I have a longtime experience as a photographer, having worked professionally in the field since 1968. I initially worked as a fashion photographer for international magazines. My personnal artwork saw numerous exhibitions and publications in the Netherlands, Japan, the US, France, Germany and other countries. I have photoworks in many presigious international museums and corporate and private collections. I was a photography professor at a number of art schools and universities in the Netherlands and the US. My work is represented by the Argus Gallery, Marienstrasse 26, Berlin and the Kahmann Gallery, Lindengracht 35 Amsterdam.
I love to work with models who are interested in my particular style of work and who see their role in the creation of fascinating, new images as a challenge.
I work with the time-proven, but slow concept of the large view-camera (yes, with the dark cloth over my head) and analogue (film) photography.
I print in the darkroom and have been told that my images are of astouding beauty (but I would of course never say so myself)
