Some Things to Make Note of When Communicating With Me About Potential Shoots:
1. Whenever I have more than one shoot pending, please be sure to let me know which shoot you are interested in working with me on.
2. If you are a photographer that has a mua/ stylist etc that you have been dying to work with, please let me know. I prefer to have a mua at my shoots, and I am always interested in working with new people!
3. MUAs: For shoots that are TF, I am more than willing to compensate you by paying your kit fee.
4. Once a shoot time is in place, all team members are encouraged to contact everyone that will be involved in the shoot as often as possible! If you randomly come up with a crazy idea, or think of something you want me to bring, please please let me know! Lets make the shoot ROCK!!!
Kemmie T's Pet Peeves
Poor Communication Skills:
Please please please! If you decide not to work with me for ANY reason, please let me know, and I will do the same. I find it very unprofessional when I am contacted by someone about a shoot, doing makeup, or hair etc, and then that person disappears. Let's keep the communication lines open. Let me know the reason for changing your mind, and I will do my best to work something out if possible.
Empty Shoot Concepts:
If I ask a photographer what type of shoot/ look they want to go for, or what ideas they may have, I would love to get more than "Just sexy" as a response. I am super creative, and always open to new ideas, so if you have some awesome ones, please share!! I like to "get in your zone" before a shoot- let the creative juices flow!
Shoot Arrangements:
I LOVE LOVE chatting with the photographers I plan on shooting with via phone, text, email, and mm. But when it comes to direct planning and scheduling of a shoot, I prefer email via mm or blackberry email as primary. This is just so I can have a hard copy of the plans. Pretty pretty please (with a cherry on top) do not text me at 12midnight with "hey when we gonna shoot"...It makes me sad.
