Greetings! I'm Rick Vargas.

I've been a professional photographer for about 35 years, yes I started young. I've made my living in studio illustration, museum catalog photography, historical documentation, and public relations photography. I did, however start out as a young artist in NYC with the female body as my focus. In my personal work it has often represented the soul.

I have some free time now, and can do more of what I really want in photography. All the models I have met and worked with in the last ten years are involved with this site, and so it was time I got on. This way I not only contribute to this community but support my own artistic growth, something you cannot always do "at work."

Life is always changing and so am I. It is time again for the personal to have its expression, and not just "the official." A new photo website is in the works, and I will post it the moment it is up, In the mean time enjoy the pictures here.
