"Listening is the first step and the last."-Cantus Fraggle
"Without 'ART', 'Earth' would just be 'eh'."-Tricia Storie
I recently participated in the first annual NYC Bodypainting Day, as organized by Andy Golub. As a result of that, an appearance at the Bonnaroo Music Festival, and my lawsuit against the NYPD, I have been receiving a lot of press, lately. Get me while I am hot.
I have been modeling for over 13 years, and performing for over 27 years. I am a multi-disciplinary artist, with a skill set that includes visual arts, singing, stand up comedy, spoken word poetry, clowning/mime, rhythm guitar, hula hoop (single, multi, fire), fire eating, minimal aerial (silks, static trapeze, Lyra), dance (waltz, tango, highland, swing, belly, pop'n'lock, salsa, jazz, tap, ballet, African, hula, Charleston, mashed potato, twist, twerk, et cetera), improv comedy, character acting, world accents, whistling, kazoo, mouth trumpet, magician assisting, contact juggling, and memorization, to name a few.
On the modeling end of things, I have done a lot. I am proud of some of it and perplexed by a lot of it. Some of it, I wish that I had not done, as I feel that it promoted an unhealthy view of how people ought to be treated.
These days, I am interested in collaborating with artists, in all genres, that wish to create art designed to uplift our fellow Earth dwellers. I want to be a part of meaningful creations, rather than promoting the rape culture, for money.
There has never been a time when I have come away from a shoot with the photographer saying, "Well that was a boring waste of time."
At the moment, I prefer paid collaborations, but I am willing to work for barter, of all kinds, as well: time for pictures, time for airline miles, time for local, organic produce... I am not really interested in clothes or jewelry, but if you have a travel sized instrument (trumpet, ukulele, violin, clarinet, coronet, et cetera), I would give a full day to shooting, with you!
Thank you, all, for following your passion!
