About me
"Listening is the first step and the last."-Cantus Fraggle

"Without 'ART', 'Earth' would just be 'eh'."-Tricia Storie

I began this year by co-creating the Learning Man Festival, with my dearest friend, Sheryl Davis, and several other extraordinary minds. Learning Man is an off-grid, above ground, Locally grown, Globally minded, Ecologically friendly experiment in helping the world achieve its full potential. We are preparing for when the best happens and teaching people how to survive in a healthy, sustanable, cooperative World. The First Learning Man Festival Happened April 26th-29th, on a developing farm, 5 miles East of Downtown Austin.

The Following weekend, I performed in West Texas, with Magician, Lanny Kibbey.

For the next 3 weekends, I was performing in Waxahachie, Texas, as a dancer with a bagpipe-rock'n'roll band, called Tartanic. Somewhere in the middle of this, I made it to Houston and taught circus skills to elementary school students.

The next weekend (we're in June, now) I performed with Lanny in East Texas.

After a pleasant road trip, we (Tartanic) did a concert at the Steel Stacks Pavillion in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

On Thursday, June 21st, I was body painted nude, in Times Square, by Andy Golub. This Was the first time that I had been painted naked in Times Square since we were arrested for it on July 31st, 2011. I am pleased to report that the police were more respectful of the laws and ART than they were, last year.

The next weekend, we were back in Texas. I was raped on June 29th, by an old friend, which hurt, a lot, mentally and emotionally. Fortunately, the next night, I was invited to showcase my personal body comfort by performing naked fire hoop at a private event at the Enchanted Forest, in Austin. After a day of rest and music, The other Learning Mani and I helped with the Love ATX Festival at Soma Vida Yoga studio, on July 1st.

Revivifed by the healing energy of my Austin friends, I met back with mi familia de Tartanic and we drove to Kenosha, Wisconsin for a three week engagemet at the Bristol Renaissance Festival.

On August 4th an 5th, we were back in Bethlehem, performing at Musikfest, which is the largest free music festival in the continental United States.

With almost 14 days until the next Tartanic gig, I took a mini-vacation around the NorthEast that included discovering the deeper soul of a person for whom I had had a long-time admiration; surprizing a dear friend at his birthday party in Connecticut; reconnecting with an old Lover back in NYC; then roadtripping with 2 new friends from PA to Michigan...

During the 7 week engagement that we (Tartanic) had in Michigan, I sustained two major injuries, acquired an illness that went on and on and on, with no relief, save for the healing purr of a cat tha slept on my chest to esure that I was comfortable, lost a dear friend, raised a lot of money for a charity organization, massaged and entertained women and children in a shelter, fell in and out of Love with a clown, and still managed to sleep.

For all of October and November, I worked at the Texas Renaissance Festival with Tartanic. I was far less ambitious at the TRF, having run myself ragged this year, but I managed to fall in and out o Love, twice, discover the true nature of carrots and their importance to a good party, organize a charitable fundraiser with two assitants in three weeks time, write a song, improvise a spoken word piece that encouraged people to be more comfortable with their bodies, and, occasionally, sleep. I also taught a beautiful musician the meaning of unconditional Love, though he is still basting in the lesson.

On December 2nd, I hopped in a friend's fake cop car and we drove to Arizona, which is where I will be until April...

More to come, later, but I a super sleepy, at present.
