RJD Studio

Goals: To produce killer images!!!!  Currently, helping starting models and MUAs in the Annapolis/Baltimore/Washington corridor with portfolio building.  Since I am building my own portfolio at this time, I am willing to work for trade.  Later, I will seek paid work assignments and look to promote my work, and the work of models and MUAs that shoot with me, both online and through networking and various advertising channels.

Experience: Substantial natural lighting experience, and a good amount of studio experience.  Recently, I acquired some edgy space in the arts district of Baltimore (the space is amazing for funky shots!  Check out the warehouse shots in my port for a sample), with another more formal studio currently under construction.   I believe in quality images, starting with the model, lighting, and lens, but touched in post-processing, as necessary, to get that final look.  My true love is quality black and white mood shots.

Work ethic: My expectations from anyone I work with are a professional attitude, a desire to produce killer images, and a desire to have fun as we work.  I do expect models to be punctual, well rested, photo-ready, and pumped up to have a great photoshoot.  So far, every session has been great and we have all had a blast!

Note: If I do not receive confirmation at least a day prior to our shoot, I will likely make alternate plans.  Do not expect me to reschedule if you fail to notify me in a timely fashion that you cannot attend a session.  Depending on the circumstances, I may make an exception; however, do it a second time and we will not shoot together.
