Michael anthony Gentile is a designer and painter. Accomplished in abstract forms of painting I am becoming fluent in figurative forms. After all it is the human form that is the most significant and perfect (universal) creation and this makes it the most expressive image, graphically speaking, to have narrative in ones work. While being difficult to observe the human form is well worth obsessing over and always worth the time. I'm currently interested in portrait work as well as figuative work that addresses the human condition. In all my work I attempt to capture what I know about the model; all stories are personal and authentic.
