I apologize for the delay response.  My house and studio burned just last December and all photo equipment, lighting, wardrope and personal belongings was lost. My silver lining is the room in which my office is located did not burn although suffered severe heat and water damage. I have been trying to recover data and original media (videos and photos) these last months.

All my content was well backed up but was located in the same room as my computers....some recovered, some destroyed.

The dogs and I survived just fine although with just the clothes on our backs. Viturally all the contents of the house were either destroyed or damaged beyond use due to flames, smoke and water. My cars also burned just outside the garage. The fire originated in the garage (electrical in origin) and then climbed the exterior walls to the attic space and hence downward to the upstairs rooms of which two were totally destroyed.

I think, hope and pray that my insurance is adequate and thank all those people that have written and offered their thoughts, love, and offers of help. My neighbors have also been unbelievable thoughtful and helpful and I am humbled by their desire to help. I am trying to look forward and promise to do my best to have as little interruption in updates as possible.

In the meantime, I am thankful that I escaped unharmed and have been reminded what we all know but forget; things are things and can be replaced; my life and loved ones cannot be.
