“The Multi- talented Crystal G”
This young lady is more than a triple threat. She surpasses most artists today because of her ability to master many different art forms. Crystal cannot be placed in one category. She is a modern day renaissance woman. She’s a professional freelance make-up artist who graduated from Paul Mitchell with (2) years of prosthetic experience, a creative ‘theme” photographer, a skilled choreographer and a singer with her own unique sound.
People know her as the multi-talented crystal G for a reason. Crystal’s artist talents opened her up to a world that was far larger than her southern roots of Little Rock, Arkansas. Though, a country girl at heart, Crystal knows that she has a gift that the world will appreciate. As a child she grew up singing with her grandfather who was a member of the group, “The Jiles.” She would constantly be in trouble for dancing in the kitchen. But friends and relatives began to take notice of her artistic abilities when as a child when she began to draw, which would later blossom into a love of creative arts.
She started her career at the young age of 16 when she began modeling for nationally known clothing designer, Korto Momolu. This work led her to New York’s Fashion week; BET’s Rip the Runway and pictures of her were featured on the TV series Project Runway. She was also 16 when she began dancing and doing choreography for female vocal artist such as XXzotic and Marie V Her routines garnered a lot of attention due to the sexy and creatively designed moves.
Crystal began to transition into acting as a natural progression of her creative expression. Her acting experience began with the regional stage production, “Freedom” and soon moved to leading roles in many independent films. She found in acting, yet another vehicle to showcase her many talents and ability to create art.
Her creations have earned her numerous awards. Most notably Little Rock’s Face Off competition in which she won first place for her prosthetics and the International Hair competition in Dallas in which she did the choreography and won first place for her make-up work and prosthetics. She has been featured in several local magazines and newspapers of which many were cover stories.
Not only has Crystal been gifted with an amazing ability to visualize and create, but she has an impeccable professionalism that can only be described as sheer passion and drive. Her work-ethic is unparalleled. She has an ability to balance several art forms and create work that is so beautifully inspired you’ll wonder how one person can have so many talents. When Crystal is not in the studio, modeling or on make-up jobs, she is fine-tuning her craft. Whether practicing on dance routines, auditioning for acting roles, working out with her dancers, or simply spending time with her family and close friends.
As Crystal says,
"I hate being confined. I think life is about experiencing it and living it.”
Her one philosophy is to live life fearlessly!!
