My name is Makele HIll and I was born and raised in the Los Angeles area. I have been a makeup artist for the past 7 years and have been in the industry for the last 5. My career started managing several different makeup counters at a department store. While working at the department store I started my own freelancing business "Love Kele Artistry". I enjoyed working at the makeup counter, but after 3 years, and not yet ready to go full time with Love Kele Artistry, I wanted more. I wanted to continue learning and master my artistry. I was offered a job as a makeup artist with Sephora. Working at Sephora was a Makeup artist's dream. I got hands on training for every thing possible; from air brush to costume makeup, head shots and mens makeup to editorial,print and runway. Sephora taught me hygiene and kit cleanness, exceptional customer service, lash application and they certified me as a makeup artist. Best of all I had access to top of the line makeup for my personal kit. After being at the company for over 3 years, once again I decided it was time for another challenge. It was time for me to take on Love Kele Artistry full time. With all the knowledge I gained and networking I did over the years, it was like I had been to the ultimate makeup school, and now it was time for me to graduate. For the last year and a half I have been a successful free lance makeup artist. I have worked on numerous music videos and short films. I have worked along side celebrity photographers, actors, and even a few famous models. I love what I do, and it is demonstrated in my work. I'm a perfectionist, hard working and have passion for life and people. I try to show that through my artistry, I want everybody to Love Kele.
