About Me

I am a Fine Art photographer recognized by The Georgia Council of the Arts as "an exceptional representation of contemporary Georgia art work."

Photography stirs emotion. Pictures are more powerful than words. When we look at a photograph, we focus on what we see, think or feel, and ... we may even ask, "why?" My images are a reflection of the world around me, celebrating the beauty of life. My camera captures images of curiosity, self-expression, relationships, chances, beginnings, and most important--images that tell stories.

I photograph people in their environments, because I am curious of what lies behind their eyes, where they have been, and where they hope to go.

I am inspired to compose by the contrast of light and dark, while I use the changing light of day to arouse a mood in my photographs.

My photographs have been published by Atlanta Ballet, ArtsATL, ATL Insider, Frommers, Creative Loafing, Inside Jefferson Parish Magazine, Smyrna-Vinings Patch, Spiritual Enthusiast, The Times-Picayune on, and

Exhibitions include: "World of Water," at the Georgia Aquarium, "Wholly Georgia: A Look at the Effects of Southern Religious Culture, " sponsored by the Art History League and Georgia State University at Mint Gallery in Atlanta, GA, "6x6," at the Rochester Contemporary Arts Center in Rochester, NY, "Open Walls," at Black Box Gallery in Portland, OR, "The Artists Lounge," at Queens Pride House in Jackson Heights, NY, and "@Phonography: Dialogue in the Wireless Age, " at 3 Ring Circus in New Orleans, LA.

My photography is currently on display in Metro Montage XIII at the Marietta/Cobb Museum of Art and in the executive offices at the State Capitol as part of the Art of Georgia exhibit.
