I'm an independent photographer based in the Boston area. I've worked as a staff photojournalist for community newspapers in several states, accumulating years of print and web photojournalism experience. With valuable years of my career also spent as a photographer at a studio, I sharpened my lighting abilities and added impact to my portraiture.

I have a bachelors degree in Photography from Northern Arizona University, where I received the honors of Summa Cum Laude and Outstanding Graduate in Photography upon graduation. I also have a master’s degree in Media Studies from Rhode Island College.

I'm here because I'd like to meet models and other photographers for projects and networking, especially if it generates work. I'm eager to experiment with new styles, genres, techniques, and people. Although my portfolio is heavy in photojournalism, I currently want to immerse myself in different variations of portraiture. I find it compelling, intimate, and powerful.
