About me

I have been drawing and painting the figure for a little over 20 years, and I see figurative work as a valuable expression of its own as well as a fundamental exercise. I’ve gone through many different styles of artwork as well as a professional design career, but figure drawing has been a constant passion throughout.

After many years of attending classes or pooling money with artist friends, I’ve begun hiring my own models so that I can be more specific about what I want to do with lighting and scene.

I'm now also attempting to make some beautifully flawed images with my cheap plastic camera.

On the drawing side, I'm primarily interested in connecting with models who have participated in life drawing classrooms or have other prior art experience. I would definitely be interested in time for art (TFA?), but also pay competitive rates.
