Welcome to Model Mayhem, Felicity! To choose a profile photo, (called an Avatar) go to My Stuff, Manage Photos, and, beside the shot you want to use, click Set As Avatar. When the "crop" option comes up, just hit "Skip". For future, keep in mind that photos marked "M" can not be used as Avatars! Mayhem would block that use.
