i come from shooting for newspapers and magazines. i'm pretty rooted in reportage.

i am looking for people to work with more than once. my goal would be to work with people for twenty years, but i'll settle for one or two. good work really starts to come only after you feel okay with each other. it's not easy having a camera pointed in your face. it's not any easier pointing it you either, unless you're really into shooting.

i like to plan a shoot. just showing up and hoping for the best won't work out too well.

i'd like to tell a story with you. even if it's a single frame, it ought to knock you out.

i prefer shooting black and white film. it's a little bit slower, but that's what's missing these days. too much rushing around and 3,000 jpg files that nobody really wants to look at.

everyone i work with gets prints. 5x7's and they're nice. they're not from wallgreen's or target. you'll like them. i promise.

i am open to ideas. please share them with me. i don't censor. i am daring. i'll try nearly anything. just ask.
