Thank you for stopping by.  Gallery By Hal is my first & primary profile here on MM.  I shoot a wide variety of genres including but not limited to Art Nudes, Glamour, Pinup and Editorial.  I also practice a bit of digital manipulation from time to time.

I have a number of Special Projects or Collections, if you will, that are active and in need of models.  Specific parameters for each, along with  sample images, are listed in “Hal’s Detail Sheets” above.  Models are cordially invited to click on the link and review them at leisure.  If you find one to your liking, please contact me.   We’ll set something up.

At present, the projects I’m concentrating on are:
American Postcards, a collection of Nudes with attitude;
The Anonymous Nude, a Nude series dedicated to the mystique of anonymity;
After Dark, a B&W portrait series shot in the Loop after sundown;
American Denim, a celebration of blue jean fashions;
Toppers, a fun series built around hats.

There are others.  Or if you prefer, I’m happy to work with you on bringing your concepts to life as well.  Let’s talk about it…

Please be aware I do not have a studio nor do I employ studio lighting.  Each of my model shoots are conducted on location.  That location may be as public as Navy Pier or as private as your own home.  It all depends on concept, content and your personal comfort zone.

I do not tolerate “high school drama” on my shoots.  I go into each and every session with the full expectation that I am working with adults fully capable of discussing any and all issues that may arise.  Name calling, threats of violence and similar nonsense will result in the session’s immediate termination and the deletion of all images captured to that point.  If necessary I will call the Police and press charges to the full extent allowable under the law.
